On 26th January, Saturday.. my friend Izu invited me to go to Sunway Lagoon with him to attend Quiksilver Revolution 2.0 that been held there. I was quite excited seen this is my 1st time i went to such kind of event. It involved surfing and skating sports. Even though im not really into sports, but when i finally arrived there, it was totally AWESOME!!~ I really2 meant it...I guess the number of visitors were more than a thousand...i saw a few familiar faces at there...we have a lot of stars performing their best moves...such as Two-time World Aerial Champion JOSH KERR (Snapper Rocks, Queensland, AUS), Fellow World Aerial surfing Champion RY CRAIKE (Kalbarri, Western Australia, AUS), Professional TROY BROOKS (Bells Beach, Victoria, AUS), from Indonesian WAYAN “BETET” MERTA (Bali) and Peurto Rico’s DYLAN GRAVES.
While skateboarding demonstration is been demonstrated by international skateboarding line-up consisting of Germany’s two-time vert champion SASCHA MULLER (Münster, Germany), Sweden’s JOCKE OLSSON (Malmo), the UK’s PETE KING (London), and Aussies RENTON MILLAR (Melbourne, Victoria, AUS) and TREVOR WARD (Moama, NSW, AUS) performed for two hours in the rampant afternoon humidity; pulling 540 degree spins, stale, lien and method airs, grinds and other super impressive tricks.
We also been entertained by our own local band as well as from other country.. we have ONE BUCK SHOT, which performed somewhere around evening...too bad i missed it... :-( then later at night we have POP SHUVIT who totally rawk the show!!!! u guys were really2 COOL that nite!! then FUTON (rock & roll band) from Thailand who also rawk the stage... and not forgetting DJ's FUZZ, CZA, and UNO who together are The STYLUSTIKS; hip-hop artist JOE FLIZZOW who also helped rock the Sunway Lagoon venue and get the crowds jumpin’...
Overall i did enjoy it even though it was raining heavily that day...but it was worth it! wuhhu!~~
